HATTON BOXING FOR FITNESS
We've recently launched BRAND NEW Hatton Boxing for fitness sessions as part of our weekly session timetable, taking place every Tuesday & Thursday at 1830. These 60-minute sessions consist of 3-minute rounds, incorporating cardio, core, lower body, and combination drills.
Whether your goal is to lose weight, gain muscle or increase your fitness levels, this session is the one for you! By incorporating this type of interval training, a series of high-intensity workouts interspersed with rest periods, will help you get fit and burn fat whilst building confidence and making new friends!
MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
My names Andrea Evans and I run the Hatton Boxing for Fitness sessions at Colchester Bootcamp. My entry into fitness was later in life and at that big old landmark of hitting 50. I was overweight, unfit and unhappy with how I looked and felt. A fundraising event to raise money for the local charity I worked for was my starting point. So, adherence to a 12-week training plan, completion of the race, weight loss and a new found love of fitness and I was hooked.
I've been a bootcamp attendee for the last 8 years, and I've never looked back. Fitness for me is the holistic approach to everyday life, exercising so that I can maintain those functional movements and have longevity because of my fitness, spent both with those I love and doing what I love.
Knowing what a profound impact it has had on me and my life, is what fueled me to train in the field and share that passion and knowledge in supporting those on their personal journey.
